The FACUG is delighted to note another special event.

A five-day/four-night Technology Conference Mexico Cruise, on the Royal Caribbean Radiance of the Seas

SAILING FROM TAMPA on Thursday, January 27, 2011, calling on Cozumel, Mexico and returning to Tampa on Monday, January 31, 2011.

 

 

Due to the many number of guests they are anticipating, Royal Caribbean has asked that we provide reservations for as many guests as we can in the first 30 days of this announcement so that they may be able to block the many conference meeting rooms as they can to serve this event.

Furthermore, the guaranteed rates listed here will be honored until October 22nd, 2010. Early birds get the worm.

If you are interested in attending this conference you should register for the conference and then book your cabin as soon as possible with a $100.00/person deposit. Balance due 90 days prior to sailing.

These rates are obviously first come/first served and once they are gone, they are gone. There is no guarantee that we will be able to obtain additional cabins.

Each cabin will receive a $50.00 On Board Credit

Payment - Deposit

If you are interested in attending this conference you should register for the conference and then book your cabin as soon as possible with a $ 100.00/person deposit. Balance due 90 days prior to sailing.

Immigration

U.S. citizens on this cruise will be able to enter or depart the country with either a passport OR a government-issued birth certificate with a raised seal and government-issued photo ID like a driver’s license.

About Occupancy Rates

Single Occupancy is listed at 200% - not counting port charges, taxes, fees and gratuities.
We will put a roommate-finder list in place to try to help you find a roommate if needed.
Rates for third and fourth persons in same cabin will be quoted based on availability at prevailing rates at time of booking.

Bus Transportation

Buses from Palm Beach County to the Port of Tampa will be $30 - $35/person each way.
If there is significant demand, we will try to reserve buses from other points around Florida to the pier and back at the best prices we can find.

To Qualify for the discounted cabin rates

At least one occupant of each cabin must first register for the conference online. If there is no conference attendee in your cabin, you certainly would not want to risk having your cruise booking declared invalid and lose part of the deposit.

The early bird rate for the conference is $50 for members of FACUG or APCUG User Groups and $75 for non-members. Cruise bookings will be accepted (interior, ocean-view or balcony) in price ascending order based on availability.

Final payment must be made 90 days prior to sailing. Bookings will be accepted (interior, ocean-view or balcony) in price ascending order based on availability. All bookings will be made on a guarantee basis, subject to upgrade, with cabin assignments to be confirmed, as available, prior to boarding.

Cancellation penalties from the cruise line will apply as follows:

  • Cancellation 70 or more days prior to sailing…FULL CRUISE FARE REFUND
  • Cancellation within 70 days prior to sailing……Loss of deposit
  • Cancellation within 30 days prior to sailing...…50%
  • Cancellation within 7 days prior to sailing…..…No Refund

Discount Rules:

*Note: The advance payment and member discounts only apply for those registrants whose user groups are in good standing

AS OF JANUARY 1st 2011. Registrants who are members of user groups not in good standing will be asked to pay an amount, equal to the non-member registration fee, less any advance payment.
Please contact your organization's treasurer to make sure their membership status is up to date to avoid confusion at the door.

Registration entitles you to your FACUG badge, access to FACUG Events, registration materials, and promotional items.
