APCUG January 2007
Hello Region 5
My name is Stuart Silverman, and for those of you that don’t know, I’m your new advisor for APCUG. I want to thank you for renewing your membership this year. We are constantly working to better meet your needs.
Please send me your newsletters and any important information that you want me to have. Let me know if you are doing something different or special in order to increase membership or if you have a great idea for a speaker or a meeting.
My job is to help share information so your group can grow and prosper. Please let me know what I can do to help you. I look forward to seeing many of you at the conference in Kissimmee in March. I will be facilitating a Roundtable to share successful practices at your meetings. I would love to hear what makes your group work.

The state of Florida Computer User Groups has been quite successful in actively participating in the APCUG Annual Conference in Las Vegas January 4-7 2007. I attended and found it to be a most rewarding experience. Where else can you socialize with so many others who have similar interests in computers? These people come from throughout the US and the rest of the world to spend several days recharging their batteries.
Your group can actively participate in this year's FACUG Conference by submitting your entries in the Jerry Awards, Newsletter and Web Page contests. Come join us this year in Kissimmee.
